Nov 28, 2011According to SpetsStal's appraisal, the volume of imported stainless steel products in October 2011, if compared with the previous month, rose 16.2% to 24,441 tons. Product-wise, flats rose 25%, longs - 3.8% and seamless tubes - 61.7%.
Imports of stainless steel wire fell 7.9% while stainless welded tubes made it down by 6%. Imports of stainless steel slabs and ingots decreased almost 20 times.
