Jan 26, 2012According to SpetsStal's estimate, Russian stainless steel imports rose 3.8% in December 2011, compared to the previous month, to 20,978 tons.
Imports of stainless steel flats increased 3.7%, wire – 10.6%, seamless tubes – 4.9% and welded tubes – 98.9%.
In contrast, imports of stainless steel longs and slabs/ingots decreased 19.2% and 71.7%, respectively.
